As exptected: All the "Indian" American female pols failed at get the nomination

Last year, I stated that Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Tulsi Gabbard were thoroughly unsuited for high office. And when voters saw what I saw they promptly narrowed it down to a nothing Senator who fired from a hippy commune for laziness and honeymooned in the Soviet Union-Bernie Sanders and a guy who barely knows where he is and is unable to complete sentences- former VP Joe Biden.
Tells you all you need to know about the Democratic field.

  1. This was long expected. They never had any content worth offering anyway.

I do not even know when Kamala Harris even campaigned. She was invisible. Tulsi Gabbard, the last thing we need are Assadist BJP stans as POTUS. But is she not going to become VP for one of the remaining two Democrats? Looney Liz aka Elizabeth Warren fought with Crazy Bernie till the end before finally bowing out.

But do you not think it would be dangerous for non-White Americans if Trump gets reelected? A few people in America have raised this prospect of Trump going full Nazi after seeing the Kashmir lockdown, CAA and Delhi riots saying Modi's victory was an explicit permission for him to take his gloves off. They are also saying Trump wants to do away with the Presidential term limits. How far is that true?

As it stands today, nothing will stop Trump. He will win even bigger than 2020.

    1. Also I am told Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian Americans will vote for Trump this year. They all rejoiced when IRGC Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike earlier this year.

Iran is also the epicenter of the deadly coronavirus. Do you think the Ayatollahs will lose power this year or anytime soon? They seem to have faced one disaster after another, yet they remain firmly in the saddle.

    2. Easy with the labels. Just because she is against war in Syria doesnt make her an Assadist. She like Trump and Sanders represents a good portion of the population that does not see any upside in any involvement abroad.

The mullahs are a resilient people but are getting weaker by the month. It is upto the Iranian people to do what they did in 1979. The thing with Iranians is that unlike Arabs who can riled up for revolutions pretty much every month, Iranians really dont have that fire and it takes a few decades or even centuries to cultivate what they did in 1979. Iranians are mostly a strategic and non martial people who are given to design and schemes than direct blood letting.

    3. hahaha Trump has increased his share of black and Hispanic voters if the polls are any indication. He has also made inroads with Indian and Jewish voters. Most of whom are Democratic blocks. Blacks and Hispanic Americans are just as hawkish on immigration as whites, perhaps more so.

    4. Tulsi is an Assadist because she goes out of her way to deny Assad's usage of chemical weapons (and other war crimes) against civilians. Not because she does not want war in Syria. Bernie is a senile old man.

Looks like Iran would have had at least 5,000 deaths due to the coronavirus. The mullahs are sitting on the truth and trying very hard to prevent it from leaking out.

Speaking of Arabs and revolutions, people in Iraq and Lebanon have been protesting against Iran's influence in their countries since October. Looks like the mullahs are truly losing the game. The death of Qasem Soleimani could not have come at a worse time for them.

I remember you told us once about Blacks and Hispanics and even Indian Americans being more anti-immigration than American Whites.

    5. Assad used chemical weapons in 2013. But has not used them since Trump took office. Trumps 2017 attack on Syria due to their alleged use of chemical weapons was shown to be a deep state ploy. I think she is talking about this.

Indian Americans and Hispanics do support chain migration and family reunification where their families can easily gain citizenship. So their view of immigration is a tad self serving. But blacks and over 5th generation Hispanics(whose families trace their lineage to Columbus's settlements and later) dont have any family in their mother country and are more hawkish on immigration in general.

    6. Actually Assad used chemical weapons continuously throughout the war. Douma, Khan Sheikhoun, Ghouta alone a lot of times, rural Hama. This does not include his usage of barrel bombs laden with chemicals. The number should easily cross 300.

Assad was able to get away with this because Russia and Iran provided him the cover to do so.

While the pressure is mounting on Iran, I wonder why America and NATO are sparing Russia. Putin's only power is propaganda. Russia is not USSR. Russia's GDP is only a twentieth of the West's while USSR had a GDP half of USA. The USSR was mightier than the USA in terms of military power, intelligence and influence. But still America overcame them. Russia is certainly stronger than America in terms of military power but America and NATO can make it painful for Russia even without militarily engaging them. Russia has basically continued with the same policies of USSR. KGB became FSB and Leningrad became St. Petersburg. Apart from that, Russia's biggest exports are oil & natural gas and military hardware, just like the erstwhile USSR. And in many other indicators, Russia competes with...Mexico. It is essentially Mexico with nukes.

If the West wanted, they could easily snap Putin's Russia and send that country crashing again. I wonder what ties their hands. Is it the snowflake PC culture? Could China be a factor here?

    7. Why should the U.S openly combat Russia? Russia and U.S already in a state of warfare though it is mostly by their respective intelligence and diplomatic agencies. Fracking has considerably undermined the Russian economy by crashing oil prices. Vladmir Putin's instinct is not for foreign conquest at all. As a former KGB official, he views such operations as a failure of his job rather than a success. Russia still has a lot of nuclear weapons, it is considered a big brother by most Slavic Christian countries apart from Catholic Poland. Not to mention its stance against American endears it to non GCC Arabs as well as Iran. Even Central Asians who bore the brunt of Stalins excesses view current Russia fondly. This is very considerable soft power that Russia has and could translate to something meaningful.

Geopolitically Russia doesnt really make that much of dent in U.S sphere of influence. The Russia hysteria in the 2016 election was created purely by Democrats as it vastly overplayed Russia's influence to get over the shock and trauma of Trumps victory. It could be argued that this was a PR gift to Russia which enhanced its standing throughout the world as it was perceived that Trump could even be a Russian agent!
If the U.S learnt anything from the Saddam ousting fiasco and it seemed to, it is that removing a authoritarian figure by force or other means creates more problems than it is worth. For most part Putin's Russia is a nuisance to U.S and really not much more. Even if its client such as Syria uses chemical weapons every now and then , Americans judge that it is not their concern.

    8. I mean that Russia is already waging a war against the West. Kind of. Ever since intervening in Syria, they have:
      1. Sparked a massive refugee crisis that overwhelmed Europe.
      2. Destroyed international norms vis-à-vis chemical weapons.
      3. Openly interfered in elections overseas, like Madagascar.
      https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-africa-47830161/did-russia-meddle-in-magadascar-s-election
      4. Lobbed its submarines and warships in the Mediterranean.

And a lot more. See this.

But it seems Vladimir Putin is also after someone else.
      https://time.com/5340545/bill-browder-vladimir-putin-magnitsky-act-donald-trump/

Moreover Russia is trying to project democracy as a weak institution and dictators like Putin as strongmen. China is doing the same.

I am aware of Russia's soft power reach. What I am saying is, Russia is getting too aggressive. At least it postures itself that way and some of its actions reflect that.

    9. 1. There is no evidence of Russia's hand behind it. Russia sees itself as a defender of Christendom.
      2. Its client state deployed chemical weapons. Possibly with Russia's blessing, possibly without. Increased direct involvement in Syria actually reduced Assads dependence on chemical weapons
      3. Its the BBC about whom one should be skeptical. Also the entire article is mere speculation.
      4. I dont see the problem.

I dont think Putin is too interested in other countries institutions unless they serve Russian interests. If you really want an actual example of how normal people are affected by Russia and its oligarchs rather its geopolitics which really affects no one in particular , look at the London real estate market where Russian billionaires have edged out Qatari and Emirati millionaires to grab every piece of prime real estate. My friends who work in London cant afford to live there and these are people who earn about 50000+ pounds a year after taxes
They sponsor anti fracking and lame environmental propaganda in the U.S so their energy market would be crippled. They have unleashed the gay, trans, feminist identity on steroids which is ripping American society apart. Ironic since they actively persecute these movements in their own country.
These are the things that you should be concerned with. NOt what its doing in its own backyard. And yes Syria for much of the COld war had been a Soviet client state, and hence the Mediterranean is now its backyard which it had been eyeing since Peter the Great.

Do you have some evidence for this?

      https://www.commentarymagazine.com/abe-greenwald/russia-used-identity-politics-against-us/
I opened this yesterday but its in a paywall today, you may able to view it once.

Commentary is centrist/center left Jewish publication who is anti Trump so expect a lot of Russia bashing. It explicitly blames Russia for mostly stoking the existing divisions on the left , not weaponizing the fringe ideas like trans. It only alludes to the latter. Being an American Jew these days is not so much following the Talmud (a tamer Torah) but encouraging abortion immigration, gay marriage, climate change agenda, trans issues and the like.
Like American Catholicism, American Judaism is entirely co opted by the Left
