Sad Week for the civilized world

In a matter of days, the U.S Supreme Court handed out not one but two rulings which firmly go against the will of the American people. Both are based on specious reasoning and stink of political maneuvering and back room deals.

Ann Coulter had warned us about John Roberts in 2005 that a tabula rasa such as himself was far worse than a liberal justice. Whether Roberts chose to commit these travesties against the Republic because he was a closet liberal or Obama in his characteristic Chicago manner of dirty tricks not limited to blackmail or other threats worked his "magic" on him, only history will tell.

To be fair, even as he disgraced himself on Obamacare , he did make up for it by writing a superb dissent on Obergeffel(gay marriage case). I guess the tyrant Obama knows his own limits, which is heartening in its own twisted way.

Anyhow her words have proven to be prescient. He has folded not once but twice on the Leviathan in waiting- Obama care and has given his blessing on the perversion of a millennia old sacrament- gay marriage.

Both of these found scant support amongst the level headed populace of Americans despite overwhelming media, academia, Hollywood and other top down propaganda tactics- both crude and sophisticated.

While Obama care would entail catastrophes not just in the medical field but in the economy as a whole, it can still be managed and in time deregulated or just plain ignored.

However the moral and societal rot that homosexuals bring to the table with their inherent fascism hidden behind a deceptively gregarious persona is a lot harder to ignore.

A decade ago it seemed that the notion of homosexuals suing bakers or photographers who wished to abide by their beliefs and not serve offer their services for a gay wedding seemed surreal.

Today it is a reality and it is going to get worse. Heck there are already liberal film critics fuming that about jokes in movies which feature straight men's distaste for giving oral sex to another man. Apparently such preferences are "homophobic". Perhaps it is only a matter of time before straight men are mandated to have a homosexual experience to overcome their "homophobia".

Lets not get started on the trans gendered lunacy which is another matter altogether. Again as of last year, "transphobic" was considered a comical word , not anymore. You MUST love Caitlyn Jenner or else.

Sounds incredible? Well so did the notion of a baker being sued for not baking a cake at one time.

Pretty much all civilizations fell due to hedonism of which homosexuality is a part and parcel. Of course no healthy civilization without sin. Indeed I support homosexuals right to their odd lifestyle/life choices as long as they conduct themselves with proper decorum and do it in private. But apparently their call for tolerance was just a ruse , it was a taqqiya until they gathered enough support to impose their will.

This guy had the number of the homosexual lobby and their MO

Razor @hale_razor
1 "All we want is to be out of the shadows."
2 "All we want is acceptance"
3 "All we want is equality"
4 "Your view belongs in the shadows."
It is impossible to fire homosexual employees without suffering grievous economic social and financial repercussions. Even if they have been caught molesting teenagers.

Dishonest and disgusting people dismiss the idea of same sex pederasts as homosexual by claiming they identify as "straight" . It is curiously hypocritical that of homosexuals to co opt famous people as gay GAY GAY GAY , DID YOU KNOW HE WAS GAY?! because a personality like say Abraham Lincoln once shared a bed with another man(due to poverty than anything else) but suddenly assure us that NAMBLA is certainly not a gay organization just because it consists of adult males preying on young boys though the reality is less delightful . Apparently lesbians are given more leeway than straight men. A vagina monologues play about an adult lesbian who drugged and raped a thirteen year old girl received rave reviews.

Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. Scott Walker reacted in a righteous and courageous manner against the tyranny of the judicial and executive branch and the fecklessness of the two Houses.

I am afraid their attempts even if they should win can only temporarily stem the tide.

We are done "debating" with the all manner of assorted freaks and pathological liars about government intrusion in the guise of gay/tranny rights, atheism, feminism, global warming, Obama care, hate speech, mandatory "diversity", gun control economic equality and other falsehoods and assaults on liberty. Debating them got us in this situation because they have never debated in good faith.

At this point, it is best to fight fire with fire. If America is indeed the New Rome, let it go for the gold and initiate a military coup and do away with rotten edifice of a "republic"and recreate another from its ashes. Lets hope Col. James Mattis can come out of retirement.

Once again you freaks, weirdos and parasites: We are done debating with you because you don't argue in good faith and you stab us in the back while smiling, smiling , smiling

It is time to settle the debate on our terms for a change: with a firing squad. I am done. Think what you will of  this.

USA will lose much of the charm it holds among non US citizens(as some heavenly destination :) ) if it allows homosexuality to go rampant and open .Personally I am against homosexuality(but I do not support the oppression of gays by police with article 377 type laws). If someone is a homosexual,he has a right to enjoy his lifestyle in private. But no need to give him extra legal rights and privileges and thus make mountain of a molehill.

    3. @prem chand I think it is due to the belief that female chastity can be broken only by males and there is a sense that female sexuality is male property.

However pre Islamic customs such as homosexuality were hard to eradicate. Most imams looked the other way when pretty much every other sultan maintained boy harems. Babur was a bisexual as was Qutubuddin AIbak and quite a few of the Ottomans and Abbasids.

Coming out of homosexuality, listen to this Naam Ramayan composition :) I have heard a number of Naam Ramayan chants in youtube but this is the best one.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhCSue-gWvA

The main singer is Swami Purushottamananda of Ramakrishna Math Bangalore. This composition is even better than even RK Mission's own previous composition .The song starts with a pranam mantra for 3 minutes before the main Naam Ramayan chanting.
Naam Ramayan is a composition written by Laxmanacharya .The unique point of this composition is that it covers the whole Ramayana sequence in short with just 108 different attributed names of Lord Rama.

      @INiyavel

I dont know whether Laxmanacharya was bengali(most probably he wasnt) but the whole Naam Ramayan is a sanskrit composition. As i said,it is unique because it touches the whole Ramayan sequentially(all the 7 kandas) with the 108 adjectives attributed to Rama. This is the beauty of the composition.Truly India had a blessed past.

As an outsider,I have seen Jayalalita evokes huge passion among Tamils in general. What is ur opinion on this? For example in the link u shared,I am quoting one commenter :
" glad to see Amma's letter.... infact.. people in tamilnadu pray for the same too.. though there were power cuts....though there was price hikes..... though there were job lay offs.... though there were shutdown of industries..... though there were no developements in infrastructure sectors.......we still need her.....
to nab drunken politicos.... to nab caste based partys....... to nab mafia MLAs.......to nab harrassment from powergroups..... to nab dynastic hiers and hieresses..... to nab roudyism.......(but then she needs to nab sasi also)....inspite of slow GDP, people in the state share far more greater freedom and security(without CCTVs)... "

What is the ground reality?See every politician in India is tainted with corruption to greater or lesser extent. So consider the DA case against Jaya as a nonsequitur while giving your opinion on Jaya.Even DMK is a corrupt party.
I personally like Jayalalita for her prohindu stance, but I am totally unaware of the overall political scenario prevailing in TN.

      Delete
    7. @JAM

First of all, the scourge of TN politics is that it is led by people from the movie industry. This is related to the fact that the Tamil movie industry is the second largest in India after Bollywood. Unlike Hindi, Tamil is a regional language! Next, the opinion of Tamils is that they'd rather use English as a link language than Hindi but most Tamils are not even well-versed in English leave alone Hindi. This has resulted in the situation where Tamils are somewhat isolated from the outside world.

So far, this has not resulted in sociological problems inside TN. Karunanidhi has been keen to implement reforms towards development. Jayalalitha is a good administrator (she was a brilliant student at school btw). She has built the TN police force into a lean and capable machinery which is why rape and violent crime are low in TN compared to the Indian average, and even lower whenever she comes to power. Both leaders are corrupt, but their good has so far outweighed the bad. TN doesn't have any other alternatives because the only challenger to the Dravidian parties is Vijayakanth who was also a movie star (!). I doubt BJP will ever come to power in TN because Hindutva is ultimately a fascist idealogy and Tamils have long since washed their hands off it. Although stranger things have happened vide the rise of neo-nazism in Russia while Germany is strongly pro-Israel.

One of the reasons Tamils passionately support Jaya or Karuna is caste. Karuna changed the status of some castes like Gounders to backward, which helped them when it came to higher education and job opportunities. Jaya has some support among Thevars since both her second-in-command Panneerselvam and 'advisor' Sasikala are from that caste.

      Delete
    8. @Premchand
Movie industry is only part of the problem. The problem is dysfunctional culture of DMK from the get go and their hogging of the political arena which made TN a one party state.

Hindutva as envisioned by Golwalkar is certainly fascist but there are many different brands and while Modi is somewhat authoritarian , he has used it to positive effect and not develop a cult of personality like the DMK leaders. The BJP had their chance and have not indulged in any sort of fascism. I say this not as a fan of BJP.TN has no problem with fascism , they just prefer the homegrown variety instead of those blasted Aryan imports! For gods sake Karunanidhis son is named Stalin- what does that tell you.

Law and order is due to a greater civic sense and social values amongst Tamils , police exists mostly as a punitive measure not so much preventative.

I have no problem with leaders being corrupt , indeed PV Narasimha Rao and Chandrababu Naidu weren't free from this taint but both were a net positive.
The problem with Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha is their distorting and perverting of the socio political system which may trickle down and have long term ramifications.

      Delete
    9. Well the Dravidianist ideology was a bizarre mix of fascism and Marxism, no doubt about that. But trust me, the fascist element has tapered off in recent times and the Marxism too is now indistinguishable from India's socialist background. Note that despite all their shortcomings, the DMK/ADMK people have delivered but I agree with you that their system may have some unpleasant long-term ramifications.

Whenever BJP comes to power, all brands of Hindutva share the limelight be it the benign boy-scout type RSS or the malignant VHP. Modi has his hands tied when the latter variety misbehaves because it is the whole shebang that was responsible for bringing him to power starting from his tea vendor days. Modi might after all be a good guy and an effective leader but he comes with strings attached.

It has been observed that crime rates go down every time Jayalalitha comes to power and it has been linked to her management of the police department. Her ruthless control of ROP elements was also instrumental in making sure events like the 1998 serial bomb blasts are not repeated.

      Delete
    10. @YSV

While Law&order scenario depends on the social values of the population, but TN police has some strong role.First of all,if I am not wrong ,TN police is the only autonomous police force among all state police forces in India, and I think Jayalalita took that step.TN police is mroe like the CRPF in the mode of operation. They have a reputation of toughness even here in North India. When Indira Gandhi was killed,Delhi had immediately asked for a few battalions of TN police to maintain law and order on the streets of Delhi.Even way back in the 80s TN police had this reputation of toughness.PremChand&Iniyavel can correct me or add more valuable points here.

      Delete
    11. TN police force is indeed tough which is mostly for the good. They received high praise even to the extent of India's Scotland Yard :P Although there are some downsides like the police being rather high-handed at times. You can't walk down the streets after 11 PM without risking police harassment. Jayalalitha even used the police for settling her personal vendettas conveniently by framing her enemies with false drug possession charges etc. The despotic nature of TN police is a frequent theme in Tamil movies. But there are indications that even this is getting better.

    12. @PremChand

Some of the best IPS officers of India are from TN and Kerala.I think the job of a police officer is seen with some respect by society in TN and Kerala,am I right?
No politician is free of corruption.I think Modi might be an exception in terms of monetary corruption but I doubt whether he is totally impeccable in the domain of moral corruption.Actually it is not possible for you to remain free of all biases and yet rise to the top in indian political system. So if Jaya is earning a few hundred crores, and yet helping TN develop ,I dont have a problem with her corruption.

      Delete
    13. @JAM

Respect mingled with fear actually ;) Re corruption, there is a saying: "The man who collects honey cannot avoid licking his hands." The implication being that he must be allowed to lick his hands. Anyway, Jayalalitha goes beyond that and drinks half the bottle herself. Some industries hesitate to come to TN because of the amount Jay asks as bribe (hint: tens of crores is a dealbreaker). We can accept that Modi is against corruption only if he brings black money stashed is Swiss banks back to India. As a PM rather than a CM, much is expected of him.

      Delete
    14. @PremChand

Exactly. That is why I said that Modi might not be imvulnerable when it comes to moral corruption, but I dont doubt Modi on financial corruption.Congress and Media have hounded Modi ever since Godhra, yet couldnt bring out a single issue from Guj govt worth considering against Modi. That is quite a clean record :)

      Delete
    15. I don't doubt the efficacy of TN police though I was unaware they were in demand outside in TN as JAM stated.

I believe the crime rate is all things considered , pretty low in India , especially TN due to communal values rather than fear of the authorities.

Police are despotic all over in India, not just TN. I suppose one tends to forgive them in TN because they are effective unlike say the police in Delhi or Lucknow who are ineffectual and shamelessly corrupt.

      Delete
    16. I never believed the black money promise for a moment. Retrieving money sitting around in Swiss bank accounts takes a hell of a lot of maneuvering and jostling in the international arena.

The descendents of those Jews who perished during the Holocaust are still clamoring Swiss banks for releasing their assets. And the Swiss banks have the audacity to ask for death certificates! As if Nazis went around issuing death certificates for those they gassed

Its not going to happen anytime soon. It will take a few decades and that too with a constant and enduring political will , both on the national and international level. I doubt on the former as there will be those coming into power(Gandhi family et al) who will have no interest in pursuing this matter!

He has been labelling him as R agent for quite some time.Capt's theory is very interesting,he says Narendranath(vivekananda) was sent by Rothschild to Ramakrishna originally.Ramakrishna was also a R agent, who propped up Vivekananda according to the hidden R agendas :) Again Vivekananda,as an agent of R,went on to meet Nicola Tesla to entice the latter into giving away his "free energy" invention and other secret inventions. But Nicola Tesla ,being anti Rothschild ,refused to do so :) A superb theory from a genius perceiver. Here's a link,u can read it to know how Tesla was actually influenced by Vivekananda, and no,Rothschild didnt have much role in it :)

      http://www.teslasociety.com/tesla_and_swami.htm

Tesla had praised Swami Vivekananda's explanation of universe model based on ancient Sanskrit terminologies, and had acknowledged that ancient Sanatan Dharma scriptures are not random but quite rational deep within.

    5. LOL. He is an expert at pulling conspiracy theories out of thin air.

      Delete
    6. @Edgardo

Capt is actually a genius perceiver and has framed an hyperintelligent theory on Vivekananda-tesla-Rothschild-Zionism connect, but forgot one simple and small caveat :) Tesla had started thinking and working on concepts of free energy and some other futuristic areas only after Vivekananda introduced him to the foundations of ancient Sanatan Dharma and not before.Hence Capt's argument that R sent Vivenkananda to Tesla for accessing the latter's works is an epic failure, though the attempt from the side of Capt was good. But point this out to Capt ,and he will bring his old bedmate Rothschild to the defence of his logic :P
Moreover it is yet to be established how much of success Tesla had actually got in free energy, but conspiracy theorists unfailingly assume that he had discovered free energy and many other things which he himself destroyed, fearing that these might go to Rothschild :) Notice the turn of logic,"Tesla discovered free energy etc but he destroyed his works also",thus leaving you no space for counterargument with these conspiracy mongers :)
But anyway the core of this wide web of conspiracy is not false,ie,Tesla had started thinking about the science in our ancient sanatan dharma and some other uncanny topics after he was deeply influenced by Vivekananda's explanation of universal system based on Vedanta.but then again his "alleged" discoveries of ultra modern weapons and technologies as suggested by Capt happened after his meeting with Vivekananda and not before. Herein lies the inherent flaw in capt's theory that R sent V to rob T of the latter's inventions :)

    7. @JAM

Tesla was a brilliant scientist and inventor who gave us AC electricity, wireless transmission etc. but unfortunately he was also a bit unhinged which is not unusual among brilliant lonely scientists. I am afraid his concept of free energy is pseudoscience. Yes I know there is something called vacuum energy but it is too weak to be of practical use. Vide the Casimir effect. You can get as much useful power from vacuum energy as you can from swirling dust particles in a room ie not much.

A true form of free energy could be fusion power which is currently researched in facilities like ITER although it comes with its own caveats. Atleast for the next 3 decades or so, we are reliant on dirty fossil fuels and a little from renewable sources.

I agree with you.Tesla,I would say,was too much futuristic in his thinking. it is a fact that he was influenced by Vivekananda's explanation of universal structure according to vedanta terminologies. It is yet to be established whether casimir effect is actually from vacuum energy, because the other two probable explanations of Vacuum effect are vanderwall, groung state.Infact some conventional scientists still opine that the casimir effect is actually a byproduct of already understood electrostatic or EM phenomena,it is just that the exact mechanism of EM or ES hasnt been explained yet.Vacuum energy exploration is at very nascent stage now.Just because we are not tapping a huge amount of vacuum energy at present does not automatically lead to the fact that it is a very weak source.Infact asserting that would also point out that we have reached the zenith of technological prowess and nothing else remains to be achieved in the domain of vacuum energy :) And even if there is a thing called free energy,it might not necessarily have to be vacuum energy.Ofcourse I do not believe in the elaborate "free energy suppression conspiracy" by rothschild :) Infact free energy means any sort of perpetual motion type energy mechanism. It might not necessarily be in the way Tesla tried to describe it or the modern vacuum energy that we are perceiving to be future free energy. It might be in completely different ways than what we can even imagine at present.I believe modern physics is yet to move many more strides before we can reach something called "free energy".

There are theoretical reasons for concluding that vacuum energy is extremely weak. There is really no evidence whatsoever that vacuum energy can be used for commercial purposes. Beyond that, it is usually conspiracy prone people like the Captain who believe that it is actually possible to derive a limitless supply of energy from such sources. They are motivated by wishful thinking than a clear interest and knowledge in science. Note that they don't show the same interest in nuclear or fusion energy which are potent sources of virtually limitless energy. It is too mainstream for them. Captain and his ilk want to believe that they are the smartest ones on earth and that the scientists are either stupid or deliberately suppressing efforts by great men like him.

Well theoritical calculations of quantum electrodynamics according to existing value of Planck constant has brought out a value of 10^113 joules of energy per cubic metre.though it is theoritically sound, yet it is practically impossible that such an amount of energy can be stored up in 1 cubic metre of space :) Hence scientists have named it the vacuum catastrophe :) ofcourse as of now fusion energy is the best source available which is within our reach.but I would not write off vacuum energy so early.because we havent yet reached the pinnacle of theoritical physics to get to such drastic conclusions.infact the more we are progressing, newer things are being unveiled infront of us.the energy of coal was discovered long ago,but using the energy effectively in steam engine was done only by James Watt.yet people had been using the heat energy of coal way back since ancient times.
Personally I am not interested much in free energy or vacuum energy.I hold the opinion that if we can harness solar power to a greater extent(already research is showing good progress in this field),our energy concerns will be drastically solved until we leap to the level of type 3 civilization(ie, requiring the use of multiple stars for gathering energy).A year ago I saw on newspaper that scientists have deviced a material(probably carbon related) that can absorb 95% of the solar energy falling on it.If this can be materialised effectively both in terms of technology and cost ,all other forms of energy will become insignificant theoritically.but in reality global economy will not allow that to happen so soon.this is not because of rothschild manipulation, but because the whole world economy depends largely on the fossil fuel energy based economic activities. So suddenly announcing a cheap mode of energy at this point(even if it has been developed) will only unleash an economic catastrophe instead of vacuum catastrophe :P hence my guess is that even if the different secret defence labs have devised easier ways of harnessing renewable sources,we will not get the fruits immediately.we will have to wait until fossil fuels reach the final stock of reservoir :)

    11. @JAM

Just like vacuum energy physics is advanced enough that we can't make drastic conclusions now, it was even more so 100 years ago when Tesla was working on it. This is partly the reason why Tesla's work was pseudoscience (compared to his work on other technologies).

The upper limit of solar energy is the amount that reaches our planet at any given time. This itself is so low that it cannot be harnessed for the world's energy demands especially with increasing demands by India and China and a projected future increase in population. We cannot wait for the fossil fuels to reach the final stock! As it is, our usage of fossil fuels is driving climate change. It is said that even if we stop using fossil fuels right this second, the effects of climate change can last up to a century.

    12. They are not holding off on the announcement of new energy sources because of economic reasons! In fact, if Western countries can find a good alternative to Russian/Middle-East oil, they would grab it with both hands and not let go of it for economic and political reasons. That is why the US is using fracking as an alternative energy source.

"The upper limit of solar energy is the amount that reaches our planet at any given time. This itself is so low that it cannot be harnessed for the world's energy demands especially with increasing demands by India and China and a projected future increase in population. " - What? :) It is quite clear you are not aware of the amount of solar energy that actually falls on earth's surface every day :) Anyway here's a few links :

      http://www.itacanet.org/the-sun-as-a-source-of-energy/part-2-solar-energy-reaching-the-earths-surface/

The problem at present is not with the solar energy but with the photovoltaic materials at present. However research is going on and scientists might be able to reach a breakthrough in a decade or so :

      http://www.iflscience.com/technology/hybrid-material-may-help-crush-solar-cell-efficiency-record

The real problem is increasing the % of efficiency of photo absorbing materials and not the lack of solar energy. The amount that reaches the earth's surface(I am leaving out the part which is reflected by upper atmosphere from stratosphere and can also be harnessed in future ) is 100s of times more than the total amount of energy that we spend cumulatively as a civilization.Using it is the main problem, not it's quantity.I have a similar kind of pov for vacuum energy also.Solar energy use and optimisation is within our reach so no worries about that, but vacuum energy might take one or two centuries more for optimisation.I am assuming that vacuum energy is present to a greater extent than what casimir effect can tap at this moment. However casimir effect itself is a doubtful experimental setup,as conventional scientists doubt that the small force that works in repulsion might be a derivative of existing EM or ES forces which are yet to be explained.
I am not contesting your point on fracking and your pov that economic fall will not occur. It is just my own speculation that if suddenly one fine morning some scientist announces that he has discovered a cheaper and easier way of harnessing more energy than fossil fuels(be it solar, fusion, geothermal, free energy,Rothschild or whatever else :) ) ,slowly the refineries, power plants and allied industries will lose economic viability. This will make millions jobless and even in USA(which also has huge economic activities based on fossil fuel energy extraction).Hence I predicted economic disaster. But it is just my speculation, nothing else.

Not all the solar energy reaching the earth can be used for power generation, even with efficient photovoltaic cells. The Sun is spewing out energy in all wavelengths, including gamma, ultraviolet etc, and some are unusable, while much of the visible light is used for photosynthesis or other purposes. There is a reason the most of the land area on Earth looks green from space.

    15. @PremChand

forgot to mention ,fracking is not a very good option wrt current existing fossil fuel network, hence it will only be a partial patch to reduce fossil fuel use,but I dont think any nation will start using it as their major source of energy, because the process itself is environmentally unsound.
But these problems do not exist with solar energy.the main problem with solar energy is the production of cost effective photovoltaic materials which will be able to absorb a much higher % of irradiation than the current limits.Hopefully that will be solved in a few years.

Who is removing the greenery :)? Even then large parts lie barren and wasted, however calculations show that the usable solar energy that reaches the earth will exceed our current energy expenditure by several times.solar energy falls uniformly on all parts of the surface,so if you build a solar plant on barren lands sarrounding a forest of trees,it will not affect the trees even to the slightest bit.

    17. @PremChand

Moreover,I believe that when scientists calculate solar energy falling on earth from the usability perspective(the links to some of which I have shared),they calculate the photonic part that can be harnessed.I believe they are intelligent enough to remove the higher ends of the spectrum :)

    18. Blaming Jews is an age old ointment to soothe wounded egos of various groups. Captain was steeped in Nehruvian anti Semitism from the get go and to this mix he probably acquired lingering European bigotry courtesy of Russian and German ship mates.

Captain has a severe complex about Kerala being under represented in Vedic civilization prior to the 15th century or so.(mostly because contrary to his comical claims of a sophisticated urban civilization circa 7000 BCsending forth maharishis to build stone henge and the mayan and Egyptian pyramids, it was sparsely populated and mostly forest area before 500 AD)

Captain simply applied the time tested method of scapegoating Jews for the stolen glory of Kerala. Most of whose culprits are Tamils and the bhaias of Gangetic valley(hence his hatred for Ashoka and the Mauryas etc)

      @ Tesla
Right , Tesla was a very prescient individual but a lot of his ideas were pipe dreams and completely unfeasible bordering on mysticism and magic
Some of this was examined in the Christopher Nolan film The Illusionist where Tesla is a strong supporting character.
I am just grateful that captain didn't decree that Tesla got the idea for AC power by chanting Ayappa Charanam (AC)!

The movie was "Prestige" and not The Illusionist.Prestige was a superb movie with Christian Bale in lead role.Yeah the movie had touched the myth that Tesla managed to create some futuristic inventions with science.Infact I doubt whether Tesla had actually worked on "Invisible Man" experiment as the movie tells us.But you are probably judging Tesla's ambitions as plain pipe dreams by reading the conspiracy theories about him :) The only experiment that might seem a pipedream is his model of directed energy weapon. We can never know whether Tesla's imaginary model can be built successfully, because Tesla himself told that he had not documented his imaginary model anywhere on paper.

    20. @JAM

Tesla dreamed about free energy at a time when there was no scientific background for his ideas. This doesn't mean that they were cutting-edge. Rather his ideas were merely in the realm of speculation and nothing more.

    21. @PremChand

I have agreed to you that in Tesla's time free energy was an utopian concept.Tesla was interested in free energy particularly for humanitarian reasons. The only part of the conspiracy bullshit sarrounding Tesla which I personally believe is that Tesla might have destroyed the documentation of his own ideas and models, fearing that they can fall in wrong hands.Tesla himself hinted this when he spoke about his "directed energy weapon" concept.
I personally do not consider free energy or perpetual motion type problems to be unsolvable. We are yet to progress a lot in modern physics to have a clear understanding and reject free energy outright. However as I said in my previous comment,I am least bothered about free energy and vacuum energy, when the usable part of solar energy which we cannot tap at this moment economically is in the order of a few hundred times that of the total energy consumption of human civilization.Until human civilization reaches type 3 in energy consumption, the sun will suffice as the best energy source. And your point on fusion energy is also valid. It will also open the door to near unlimited source of energy in future, but even fusion energy is not as free as solar energy, where sun itself is taking the responsibility of fission and fusion :)

      @YSV

"I am just grateful that captain didn't decree that Tesla got the idea for AC power by chanting Ayappa Charanam (AC)!" - Capt did mention that Tesla derived inspiration of AC from vedic texts,if I recall correctly :) LOL on Ayappa Charanam .

Its not just that Tesla's research was utopian. It was unfeasible. Of course in the future something close to free energy might happen, if the population also doesn't expand proportionally! I doubt Tesla would have destroyed evidence for his free energy research if he had progressed so far. What sort of wrong hands would his research fall into? He was living in 20th century New York.

    23. @PremChand

Tesla alleged that unknown people had come into his hotel room where he was staying and tried to find out the documents where he had written about directed energy weapon and other things, but he himself also wrote that the whole prototype was in his mind only,ie,he never put it on paper so that it can be saved from going into wrong hands.I dont think Tesla was successful in free energy. But he was working on a few areas which could be of military interest to the powerful nations. Now the amount of his success or failure will remain forever unknown to us,and so will the rate of conspiracy theories sarrounding him increase in depth and weight :) But I personally feel Tesla was a legendary scientist.Capt is right in atleast one thing,ie,Tesla is not highlighted as much as he should have been by the international community. But then again the same interference can be drawn in case of many Indian scientists like Ramanujan,JC Bose,SN Bose etc.I believe this was not because of Rothschild and Jewish interference prescribed by Talmud but because of international inclinations and biases :)

"Of course in the future something close to free energy might happen, if the population also doesn't expand proportionally!" - what does this mean?I couldnt understand :)

    24. Actually, you can blame a single person for undermining Tesla's fame- Thomas Alva Edison, the scientist who invented the light bulb. He had a grudge against Tesla because of the latter's support for AC power transmission while Edison supported DC power. AC power is more efficient because voltage can be stepped up or down as per requirement and consequently power loss can be minimized.

Youre right , the movie in question was The Prestige. The confusion arises from the fact that both Illusionist and Prestige dealt with magicians in the late 19th century and were both released in 2006!

      @Premchand
Tesla was getting rather irrational and paranoid towards the end of his life. That he would destroy a lot of his work for fear of it "getting in the wrong hands" is keeping with his character. Whether those lost works had anything of substance still puzzles and frustrates scholars and scientists.

  10. @Prem Chand: Jayalalitha has such soft and flawless skin even at this advanced age. Does she take the help of cosmetic surgery or does she take Botox injections on a regular basis to to keep her skin wrinkle-free? Or is it just that she is blessed with good genes, as far as her skin is concerned. Do newspapers in your state mention anything about this?
