My take on the citizenship controversy


I dont know what else to say except this- there are more than 180 countries in the world. Most of these are Muslim or Christian apart from China , Japan and SE Asia (Korea for practical purposes is now a Christian nation).  Any refugees such as Rohingya or other Muslims can make their way to these countries. There is only one Hindu country discounting Nepal. 1000 years ago there was also Afghanistan, Tajikistan(they followed a mould of Persian, Vedic and Central Asian shamanism but identified mostly with Puranic Hinduism in  India) and of course Pakistan as well as Cambodia ,Indonesia and Malaysia. All of these were lost due to Buddhist and Muslim "refugees" and "Traders" who were often fifth columnists for their religious brethren abroad.

I dont care about any damn Rohingyas or Pathans from Afghanistan or what have you. The latter are still  proud of Ghori for torturing and killing Prithviraj Chauhan and they step over his grave as a sign of contempt. Yes this well maybe legend but they believe and gloat over Afghan (actually Turk) rule over India.

Hindus owe tthem nothing. Lets Saudis take them in with their open hearts. Oops Saudis banned issuing visa to Bangladeshis. I suppose they are now communal Hindutvadis.

    Let us be sure of a few things here:
    1. Hong Kong blew China's cover off.
    2. Article 370 and Kashmir blew India's cover off.

    1. Even though all Muslim countries are still dead silent on Chinese persecution of Uighurs, laying hands on Hong Kong brought all the unnecessary attention to China. The bloody Japanese Prime Minister even made a remark on Hong Kong and Uighurs recently.

    I could care less about China. My main focus is India.

    2. In all honesty, no one even cared about India till Article 370 was scrapped. It served as a powder keg that exposed India's subsequent moves. Even before that, let me be honest, the kind of language Sanghis used on the Internet irritated everyone. They should have known better than to heckle and abuse everyone who even mildly criticizes them. Instead of staying quiet, they decided to show their strength on the Internet by harassing others and sending death and rape threats.

    Also, the kind of language they used did not help matters at all. I will say this. I am all for keeping Rohingyas, Bangladeshis and even Afghans out, but using words like "termites", "parasites", "pest control", "final solution", etc., really kicked off a shit storm. It only earned us comparisons with Rwanda circa 1994 and Nazi Germany.

    Despite maintaining high secrecy, laying hands on Hong Kong blew China's cover off. When this is the case, should not Hindutvadis/Sanghis know better than to resort to a vulgar show of strength? In this era?!?!? They should have worked a lot on their communications and PR instead of resorting to absolute fuckery.

    3. In all honesty, I believe Russia maintains complete secrecy inside its iron curtain. They used Iraq and Libya to their ends very well via Russia Today and Sputnik and managed to keep away all attention from their persecution of Hindus, Muslims and Christians who aren't Orthodox. Their war in Syria is an added bonus. That is the only way to go.

      In all honesty, I feel unwanted attention has been drawn towards India. Instead of being more sophisticated and nuanced, BJP/RSS simply let the bulls loose in a China shop. I seriously hope India does not have the curse of getting a govt that feels guilty due to BJP/RSS recklessness and literally persecutes Hindus like Europe does its native population.

      good comment. Regarding the BJP theatrics: I dont know why they do that. I dont know why they are so insecure about their power that they have to indulge in the type of bravado that leads to disaster and foolishness. My own position on 371 was that Kashmir is a lockdown state draining too many resources and attention from the Indian security state. There was no need to aggravate the situation at this time. Yes I realize it Kashmir has special privileges and 371 is one of them. And understandably this annoys other states. But I say let each state have their article 371 or at the very least reciprocity with Kashmiris. I mean why are Kashmiris allowed to own land and businesses in Goa , Karnataka, AP and elsewhere? Unless they are Pandits, forbid them from doing so.

      The biggest blunder BJP made of this magnitude so far was announcing to the world that they conducted nuclear tests in 1998 and that India was a nuclear power. Nothing good whatsoever came out of this. This could have remained an ambiguity ala Israel. This was the equivalent of an average office going man boasting that he acquired a machine gun by illegal means.
      PR, communication and marketing expertise are reserved only for Modi's election campaign good sir not to assist the regime in governing internally or dealing with external threats or diplomatic issues. Hahaha cmon man, where are your sense of priorities.

      I have mixed feelings about these Internet Hindu warriors, on one hand Im happy Muslims are on the defensive. On any unmoderated forum Muslims fare very poorly in debates and simply have to flee hence Quora and Reddit for instance have severely clamped down on criticism of Islam as "hate speech" . But OTOH as you stated they can be quite obnoxious and with their incredibly thin skinned hyper nationalism can repel those who support them. Look at the comments on videos regarding Indian street food. When foreigners understandably comment on lack of hygiene, they go off on a bizarre tangent about colonialism and how U.S is also dirty in its own way. In discussing movies some even go as far as to claim Bollywood is superior to Hollywood. I wont go into the ridiculous rationales for these. Hyper patriotism is toxic and does not help India in any form. But I dont see the situation getting any better.

    i used to think this bill was for good of the country now oppose it few reasons

    it will cost Indian economy of more than 3% of its gdp a waste of taxpayers money as this will used to construct dentition center across the country

    what if there is clerical errors that of Assam NRC which means u will fight cases in court, many weaker section cannot afford lawyers

    according to this bill only Hindu refugee frm Bangladesh , afghan , pak countries are considered this loop hole can be exploited anyone what if Muslims migrate in guise of Hindu burn their passport after getting citizenship they convert back to Islam there are few illegal bangaldeshi living in guise of hindu

    how will modi provide jobs ,houses etc to these refugees
    when there is huge unemployment economic slowdown in the country

    this will create a civil war among people who fail to get citizenship in this country
