Kamala Harris "bad ass" movements: When did Rediff turn into Teen Vogue?

Foreign Policy magazine stopped being interesting or incisive right around 2007-2008 when Obama's cult of personality took over and thoroughly contaminated its analysis. Since they have been spewing mostly unimaginative PC shibboleths.

So its no surprise when they declare yet another untested attractive multiracial mediocrity Kamala Harris the worlds "top thinker" . Ill leave aside that fantastic declaration for now which isn't really based on anything of substance.

Meanwhile Rediff.com has jumped on board hyping up the "Indian American" Senator cataloging her "bad ass" movements most of which entail not following the proper etiquette in a committee hearing in order to grandstand. Yeah, watch out Genghis Khan, Wellington ,Mahadji Shinde and Bose: you have competition!

Firstly Kamala Harris is not "Indian American" . Sure her mother is Indian Tamil while her father is African American. Apart from her name, she has no connection to her heritage or the larger Indian American community, can barely speak any Tamil or Hindi and largely consider herself an African American -as well she should as it is the paternal side which determines culture and ethnicity for the most part.

Not only that they contradict themselves right here-

Kamala Harris is the first Indian-American Senator in the United States -- and only the second black woman elected to the US Senate.


Which is it? You can either be Indian American or black- not both. Using this logic, Obama was the first Kenyan American Senator as well as garden variety WASP in Illinois.

Secondly , a news portal shouldn't be using terms like "bad ass". But then again I forget that rediff.com stopped being a serious site years ago and now publishes the sort of mundane celebrity trivia and skinshows that would make tabloids blush.

I hasten to mention, they actually had a 12 year old girl write a movie review and perhaps an opinion piece. Someone named Kshamaya Daniel , daughter of reporter Vaihasyi Daniel(the rotten stench of nepotism is alive and well in journalism too).

Who knows our beloved bimbo Ms. Anceeta Martis may have gotten a job at rediff! On 2nd thought , she isnt a bimbo. Bimbos are at least pretty! Oh yes I went there!

This is "journalism" at its most pathetic and depraved.

As for beating Trump in 2020:as they say a week in a lifetime in politics. What to speak of 3 years!  She has the multiracial and gender angle working for her to reel in the low IQ and highly ideological Democrat primary voters. If only she was disabled and non binary trans the Democrats might as well just end the formality and declare her the nominee right now.

Again , it is too far away. But as long as Trump keeps doing what he does with regard to the economy, he is a shoo in for the 2nd term, much of these "scandals" wont matter as much of the populace is very forgiving of  a President who makes them prosperous and doesn't hinder their personal liberty. Not to mention the momentum of incumbency which worked for the last 3 presidents.

Ms. Harris has a tough battle ahead. But she still can win provided she can do better than Hillary's self aggrandizing "I'm with her" and "Hey at least I am not THAT guy" messaging. But given her egotism, lack of empathy, narrow intelligence and shrill ideology I somehow doubt she will find few buyers who want change a horse midstream.
